From October 4 to 7 2011 the first KASA Conference in Southern Africa took place. The topic “Poverty addressing Wealth” was an outcome of the last two partner consultations in South Africa and was prepared in cooperation with some of KASA’s long standing partners.
The 30 delegates from five different countries discussed intensively across a wide range of civil society.
Like in the years before the partner consultation was seen as an adequate platform for discussions around transformation, the future of our societies and the way of cooperation between civil society organisations on Southern Africa. Those meetings help to network and they make the work of KASA visible in the South. It further helps to create long standing and fruitful cooperation between KASA and its partner organisations.
